Homeschool Planning and GIVEAWAY!

One of my favorite parts about the Back to School season is planning.

I am a planner by nature. Give me something to plan and I am a happy girl. It could be anything: birthday parties, baby showers, weddings, grocery shopping, back to school shopping, curriculum shopping, lesson planning, vacations.

I also might have a teeny tiny HUGE addiction to buying planners. At any given time, I have at least three. One for our homeschool, one for my work schedule, and one for everything else.

Now common sense should tell me that I need to combine those three planners into one. The problem is, I just couldn’t find one that was perfect.

Until I was given the opportunity to review the Weekly Homeschool Planner from Homeschool Creations.

Ladies, this planner is a homeschooling mama’s dream come true!

The greatest part is it’s an editable PDF file. You can type your plans into the planner and either print it off (if you’re like me and need a “hard copy”) or keep it on your computer. I choose to do both, so that I always have a back up.

So you’re probably wondering what makes this planner so great. It has absolutely everything you can think of.

See for yourself.

It includes:
* 138 planning pages ~ 8 1/2″ x 11″ sized
* 12 blank month-at-a-glance pages
* 40 weeks of weekly planning and journal sheets: each
page can be customized to the subjects that your
family studies and can be saved to your computer!
* Preschool planning sheets
* Field trip/Event plan sheets
* Yearly curriculum planning sheets
* Yearly planning and evaluation sheets
* Yearly attendance tracking sheets
* Field trip/Event plan sheets
* Daily to-do lists
* Main dish menu planner
* Customizable chore charts
* Important contacts info
* Additional note space
* Standardized testing and yearly assessment result
tracking
* Homeschooling requirement planning

What makes it even better is the fact that you can use it year after year. At the incredible price of $20, you buy it once, customize it to fit your needs and use it year after year. Click it here to buy it now.

    We don’t but that’s because we’re just starting out and I have been incredibly overwhelmed with just getting lessons together.

  2. Danielle says

    I’m using a combo of a $1 planner from Target, a few different files on the PC and a pocket calendar that has a weekly planner. I’m finding that I need something on paper, too an that I need one place to plan and one place to record what we actually did!

  3. Gloria Phillips says

    I purchased a planner last year (why I don’t know because my child was only in preschool…I guess I was just overly excited). I am looking to get a planner for this year though but until then Microsoft Word will do.

  4. Kristi K. says

    This is our first year homeschooling, so I do not have a planner yet. This would help out tremendously with keeping things organized and on track.

  5. Andrea says

    I am, by nature, a planner. I gleen ideas and formats from other homeschool moms ~ those in the trenches with me :) I like the idea of having an already done planner. Will be looking into this one. Thanks.

  6. Tina says

    A homeschool planner? No. Multiple planners trying to figure out just what would fit our family best? Yes. ;)

  7. Shelly says

    I have always used a planner, but now that I am homeschooling I am just adding my planning to my planner. It feels really unprofessional and not as organized as I would like…but with purchasing our curriculum for our first year of homeschooling…I didn’t want the extra expense of a homeschool planner. So this would be awesome to win! THanks!!!

  8. Becki says

    I use a classroom planner, but it is not a homeschool planner. I would love to have a planner specifically tailored to our school at home. :)

  9. KarinaH says

    I do not, but I am a planner. I just tend to create my own things because I’m too cheap to buy something. I’d love to try this one for free, though.

  10. Lisa Graham Pond says

    We don’t currently use one, but would LOVE to use one! With a new little one in the house, it might be just the thing I need!

  11. Jessica says

    I use a combination of a normal highschool type planner and google calendar to keep track of things. I just can’t seem to find a good way to merge the two.

  12. Melissa N says

    This is our first year and I am trying to plan our chores, meals and school schedule and everything else. Having it all in one planner would be great!

  13. Katherine says

    With a baby due around the time I should start homeschooling full time, I am in definite need of a planner!

  14. Rhonda says

    I do not have a homeschool planner. I have created my own grid to track us through My Father’s World 1st Grade. I also printed a cleaning schedule and monthly calendars.

  15. Alyssa says

    No I do not….currently just use excel sheets for planning. Would like to be able to have a planner though

  16. Laura R. says

    I do not currently have a planner, besides a regular yearly calendar. I have been looking for the perfect planner for 3 years, since we started our homeschool journey. Would love to try the Weekly Homeschool Planner!!!

  17. says

    I don’t currently use a planner. I have balked in the past and now I think I want one but don’t know the first thing. Some mommas claim excell, but the ones I have seen just don’t “spin my props” :-) So this looks interesting to me.

  18. Angie says

    This is my 1st full year of homeschooling. I have 2 wonderful special needs little boys. Between therapy,doctor appointments, and all the other appointments. Trying to keep everything organized is a bit overwhelming…..Thank you for all you do :-)

  19. Denise says

    I have been looking for a while and have found nothing that looks like it would fit my needs. I hope this is the one… :0)

  20. sharon says

    We haven’t used any yet, but are looking for something to help us be more organized as we start this homeschooling journey

  21. Tiffany S says

    My planner at this point is an extra wall calendar that we put a sticker on for each day of preschool we do. I would love to win this planner!

  22. Kelly says

    I have a planner, but I don’t like it. It just doesn’t meet all my needs. This one sounds really cool and I would love to try it!!

  23. Deanna Parrish says

    This would be such a blessing to have a great way to organize and plan out things for our homeschool family.

  24. Sarah H says

    I have been searching and searching for just the right planner but I’m so afraid to pay for them in fear it won’t fit my needs. I’d love to win it to try it out.

  25. Alison B. says

    I used an excel spreadsheet last year, but I like this! I especially like that it is a PDF that can be edited! I am always jotting down ideas and plans “on the fly” during the day and this feature certainly will help organize those things. Thank you for offering the give-away!

  26. Amy Sherwood says

    This will be our first year, so I haven’t had to make a plan yet. So far I have my ideas/plans written in about 5 different places. I need help!

  27. Jen says

    I kind of made up my own planner. It’s very primitive, but hopefully it works well this year. Thanks for the giveaway!

  28. Carla C says

    I have used Well Planned day and Holy Simplicity and loved them both. I would prefer a editable PDF planner that allows for easy changes in plans without getting ugly and continued use throughout the home school years. Would love to try this one out and see how it works for us.

  29. Sonya says

    This will be our first year homeschooling, so I am currently looking at options for planners and this is one of them that made my short list!

  30. says

    Our previous curriculum had a planner with it, but we had to switch this year and I am unsure if our new curriculum will. Would love to have this planner!!

  31. Tracie says

    I have to use a planner. I am LOST without one. I have tried many different ones, but haven’t found THE one yet. I would LOVE to try this one!

  32. Lindsey says

    I am a big planner, I like to have a schedule and know what I need to accomplish each day. This will be our first year homeschooling but I am still looking for a good planner, so I would love to win this!

  33. Cindy says

    I would love to win a copy of the Homeschool Planner! This is our first FULL year of homeschooling and can use all the help I can get!

  34. Meagan says

    I could really use this! My son was enrolled in a preschool program, set to begin in a month, and God changed our path, as He does :) So I’m busy trying to get our homeschool room together and this would be a lifesaver!

  35. Stacy Wood says

    I currently am looking into starting my son on a preschool homeschooling plan. I feel this planner would help out a lot with organization. Anyone suggest programs for a NEW HOMESCHOOLING Mother?

    • Heather Bowen says

      Hi Stacy- Are you looking for planning programs for new homeschoolers or are you referring to curriculum? I would be happy to offer some suggestions! You can email me at heathernbowen@gmail.com if you prefer. Good luck to you!!

  36. Katrina says
